Our cows are pastured and grassfed. They have over 100 acres of lush green grass to graze. When grass is limited in fall and winter they are supplemented with rye grass silage.

Johnston Family Farm is a family owned and operated dairy in Newborn, GA. We work to provide premium wholesome grass-fed dairy products to our consumers. At Johnston Family Farm we produce the milk as well as bottle it here on the farm. In fact, the farthest the milk will travel, from cow to bottle, is 73 feet. It's never put into a trailer and driven up and down the highway to a distant plant. Our milk is usually in the bottle less than 24 hours after it was inside the cow! That's freshness that you can taste as well as freshness that you can feel great about taking home to your family.

Handmade Butter
Our handmade butter is made fresh on the farm. You can't get anymore natural than cream, salt and culture. We also have honey butter and garlic & herbed butter
Plain & Cajun Cheddar Bites
Yes, we know it's a yankee thing but our cheddar curds are still "lip smackin' good!"
We milk Jersey/Holstein, and Jersey/Holstein/Norwegian Red crossbreeds. All of our cows are sired by bulls that are genetically tested and confirmed to have the A2/A2 protein. We have been doing so for 8 years so that we can provide A2 beta-casein milk to customers who know of and demand the more readily digestable A2 protein.

Fresh squeezed daily! We offer whole milk, 2%, buttermilk and everyone's favorite...chocolate milk! Don't forget to give it a good shake, the cream rises to the top the way it was intended.
